CCRA International Hotel Partners Exceed 26,000 in 2008
CCRA International, Inc.
(CCRA), the online supplier of negotiated hotel rates to the travel agent
market, announced today unprecedented growth in its hotel rate program,
signing over 26,000 hotel partners in 2008. The CCRA negotiated hotel
rates are available to all Reservation Center clients when booking in the
GDS.
Included among the CCRA
Hotel Partners are top international chains offering luxury as well as value
brands, and individually owned properties worldwide. CCRA represents hotels
in more than 6,400 cities across 148 countries. The
variety of properties includes 570 luxury hotels located in 291
cities, and over 2,100 extended stay hotels located worldwide.
CCRA hotel partners offer a guaranteed best available rate, added amenities,
and service guarantees for travel agents, such as last room availability, a
walk policy and block space in selected hotels. Agents are also offered a
help desk for assistance with CCRA hotel bookings.
The CCRA negotiated rates
are available to travel agencies though the proprietary CCRAtravel.com
booking portal, and through the online Global Distribution Systems (GDS) used
by travel agents to book travel services, under the CCRA rate code.
Qualified agencies, including Reservation
Center’s client agencies, are linked by CCRA to gain viewership to the
negotiated rates. To book CCRA rates in the GDS, select the CCR rate code in
Amadeus, Sabre and Worldspan, or the CCRA code in Galileo.
